a bit about the songwriter

Though a native Texan, I have lived in North Carolina for more than forty years.  I have worked as an elementary school teacher, technical writer, Christian education director, and church administrative assistant. Now my husband Dan and I enjoy a quiet retirement in the small town of Roxboro.  We are active members of Long Memorial United Methodist Church where we both sing in the Chancel Choir.  I teach Sunday school and a weekly Bible study class and serve as webmaster for the church.  At home I love gardening, reading, and cooking.  Dan and I both enjoy frequent family time with our two sons, daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren.
